Uploading video clips in the Flash format (FLV or SWF) should be standard practice practice by now for companies or individuals (especially filmmakers) who are looking to efficiently incorporate video onto their websites.
The fact that Flash videos play almost immediately give them a clear advantage over other formats such as Windows Media Player or Quick Time (both whom require their own players to first ’open’). Obviously, as more and more websites continue to strive for an interactive feel with their visitors, including professionally-produced videos that play without any issues (rather than taking forever to load or worse yet, freeze the moment you click on them) should become a top priority for companies. To view a number of examples of videos in the Flash feel free to visit the Clients page on the Back Lot Films website.
